Supermodel Hair
Cindy Crawford wearing Herve Leger bandage dress at the VOGUE’s 100th anniversary celebration, 1992
Finally we want to feel glam again. After a few years of many 90’s and Y2K inspired styles, the full volume blow out is back. The “fluffy hair” look is showing up on celebrities and influencers alike, with #90sblowout trending on Tiktok with over 275 millions views. It/s 90’s supermodel hair; think Stephanie Seymour, Cindy Crawford and Alicia Silverstone in the cult classic Clueless. It’s effortlessly classic with extra bouncy volume.
How To Do a 90s Blow Out
For this look it’s important to start out with clean hair and build a base that works with your hair texture and desired finished style. We recommend using a volumizing shampoo and conditioner and then a volumizing mousse to lift the roots and prep the hair for maximum body. Apply a heat protectant before sectioning off your hair and then begin blowing out each section with a large round brush, pinning the curls after each is dry. After all sections are completed, release pin curls and comb through, finishing off with a strong hold hairspray to keep the style intact.
